ICYMI: Cameron makes clear his administration “will be a strong defender of the Second Amendment and of law enforcement”

October 5, 2023

Louisville, Ky. (October 5, 2023) – Kentucky Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Daniel Cameron highlighted his commitment to the Second Amendment and the law enforcement community in an interview with Breitbart News earlier this week.

“I’ve been working hard as Attorney General to stand up for all our constitutional rights and have certainly done so as it relates to the Second Amendment, and I will continue to be an advocate for the right to bear arms,” Cameron said.

The article also highlighted Cameron’s endorsements from the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police and the National Rifle Association (NRA). In the NRA endorsement letter, the association noted Attorney General Cameron’s “steadfast support” of the Second Amendment.

“During your tenure as Attorney General, you joined several ‘friend of the court’ briefs defending Second Amendment rights,” the letter states. “Our members will interpret your A+ rating and endorsement as indicative of a solid pro-gun/pro-hunting candidate,” the letter continued.
