The National Rifle Association Endorses Daniel Cameron for Governor 

Louisville, Ky. (October 2, 2023) – The National Rifle Association (NRA) announced its endorsement and A+ rating of Daniel Cameron for Governor in a letter released by the association earlier today.  

“I am proud of the endorsement from the NRA and of my record defending the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens,” Cameron said. “From California to Washington, the Second Amendment is under attack from Biden Democrats. I’ve stood up to them while Andy Beshear has been silent. Unlike Beshear, I will not bow to Joe Biden or radical liberals who wage war on the Second Amendment. I’ll always defend the Constitution.”

In the endorsement letter, the association noted Attorney General Cameron’s ‘steadfast support’ of the Second Amendment. 

“During your tenure as Attorney General, you joined several ‘friend of the court’ briefs defending Second Amendment rights,” the letter states. “Our members will interpret your A+ rating and endorsement as indicative of a solid pro-gun/pro-hunting candidate,” the letter continued.
