ICYMI: Cameron Wins Another Victory To Protect Kids From Experimental Sex-Change Treatments
Louisville, Ky. (September 29, 2023) – Last night, the Sixth Circuit ruled in favor of Attorney General and Republican nominee for Governor Daniel Cameron’s defense of Senate Bill 150, which bans experimental sex-change treatments for kids. Andy Beshear sided with far-left activists in vetoing the measure in 2023.
“Andy Beshear has refused to stand up to protect our kids from these experimental and life-altering surgeries and drugs,” Daniel Cameron said. “I have empathy for these children and the families facing these incredibly difficult discussions. However, I do not think that the solution for these kids is moving to the most extreme option of life-altering drugs and surgery during their formative years. I will always protect our kids, defend our laws, and stand up for our Kentucky values.”
According to Kentucky Today:
“A federal appeals court rejected attempts to block Senate Bill 150 on Thursday, giving Attorney General Daniel Cameron a victory to protect Kentucky children from experimental sex-change treatments.
The law — vetoed by Gov. Andy Beshear — protects kids from permanent, invasive harm caused by puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. In light of the Sixth Circuit’s 2-1 ruling on Thursday, Senate Bill 150 remains in full force while the case moves forward.”
