Recent polling shows race in a dead heat

Louisville, Ky. (July 27, 2023) – Earlier today, Republican candidate for Governor Daniel Cameron appeared on Fox and Friends to discuss his campaign to defeat Andy Beshear.

“We are focused on making sure Kentucky’s values are represented in the Governor’s Office,” Cameron said. “Andy Beshear–rather than stand with the men, women, and children of Kentucky’s 120 counties–would stand with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Joe Biden.”

The interview came on the heels of Andy Beshear ducking the Kentucky Farm Bureau “Measure The Candidates” Forum, which Beshear had attended in 2019. 

A poll recently released by the Republican State Leadership Committee showed Andy Beshear and Daniel Cameron in “a statistical dead heat.”
