Cameron Statement on Kentucky Today Report
Louisville, KY – Daniel Cameron released the following statement in response to a Kentucky Today report revealing the role of JCPS in organizing the protest against Senate Bill 150, which banned minor access to sex-change surgeries:
“This report by Kentucky Today should trouble every parent and teacher who disagrees with the gender ideology making its way into classrooms across Kentucky,” said Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
“Test scores have crashed because of Andy’s school closures, but apparently some think the most important thing is to organize political protests at the behest of Andy Beshear’s radical gender agenda. Taxpayer dollars were used to support his agenda instead of educating our kids. Andy’s Education Commissioner Jason Glass says that if you are a teacher concerned about this agenda, you need to find another job. That is not the right answer. The right answer is that Andy Beshear and his Education Commissioner need to find another job and, this November, we will help them do that.”
