KY Law Enforcement Officials Respond to Latest Lies About Daniel Cameron
Louisville, KY – As members of the law enforcement community, we want Kentuckians to know that we fully support Attorney General Daniel Cameron for Governor and are confident in his ability to lead this Commonwealth. Daniel has repeatedly shown that he will not be intimidated. He will defend the laws of Kentucky and fight for the interests of this state, without fear or favor.
Daniel understands the law enforcement community, and he knows that what we need is real leadership that’s born out of actions taken, not tough talk in a 30-second ad. Daniel’s taken decisive action to improve public safety in Kentucky since his first day in office.
Daniel knows what it means to work with law enforcement as his partner—how to join us in our efforts to keep the communities we love safe. That’s what he has done as Attorney General. He has partnered with local communities to fight human trafficking—as with the HOPE initiative—and to raise awareness about the dangerous poison of fentanyl that threatens our lives and the lives of the members of our communities—including our children.
When we told Daniel we needed help fighting child abuse, he listened and developed a prosecution tool-kit to help law enforcement and prosecutors better investigate and pursue child-abuse cases.
When Governor Beshear’s Parole Board wanted to relax the rules to give violent criminals serving life-sentences parole hearings, Daniel said no and secured a court order to stop the rule from going into effect.
And rather than just talk about the border in ads, Daniel secured a settlement that’s bringing nearly $900 million dollars into our Commonwealth to help save our counties and cities from the drug crisis.
This is Daniel Cameron’s record. No ad from a desperate campaign will change that. This is why we support Daniel.
And we’re not the only ones who have come to this conclusion. Despite having never worked in President Trump’s administration, President Trump endorsed Daniel because, like us, he knows that Daniel will ensure that we have the resources we need to do our job.
Daniel is our candidate and we look forward to him being the next Governor of the Commonwealth. We encourage others to join us.
