Daniel’s Story
Daniel Cameron is a fearless conservative leader, devoted husband, and proud father. He currently serves as the 51st Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky—the first African American ever elected independently to statewide office. A proud Kentuckian, Daniel grew up in Elizabethtown where his parents owned a coffee shop. He attended the University of Louisville for undergrad and law school. As Legal Counsel to Senator Mitch McConnell, Daniel helped with the confirmation processes of several federal judges, including President Trump’s first Supreme Court Justice, Neil Gorsuch. Daniel and his wife, Makenze, married in 2020. They recently welcomed their new son, Theodore, into the world and remain thankful to God for a healthy, growing family.
